BLAKE
'sailing is in the air'
Blake is our campaign manager. He is the one who makes things happen. Super dependable, always smiling, funny and fearless, he also often takes a wave or two for the team on the foredeck. Blake makes the most succulent sandwiches - a culinary task he is willing to dedicate HOURS prior to a race. He's a sucker for country music and knows 80% of those songs by heart. Blake is the only member of the team who has managed to out-orange Nat.

Why Sailing?: "I find the competition exhilarating. Every race presents new challenges and there is no right answer. Even after the race you can't always come up with a definitive winning plan. I especially love winning when I am the underdog."
His advice to people attempting offshore without a toilet on board: "Oh, there is a bucket? I wish people told me these things."
